15 minutes initial advice - Fixed Fee - £100  (Telephone or Office Appointment only)


Initial advice relating to driving mattes only 


Advice only - Fixed Fee - £200 - (Telephone or Office Appointment only) - maximum 30 minutes 

Fees include:

  •      obtaining and considering papers
  •      providing advice on papers only
  •      providing advice on sentencing guidelines

Does not include attendance and representation at Court 


1. Guilty plea - Fixed Fee - £500 (plus mileage from Birmingham Office and any disbursements)-half day

Fee includes:

2 hours to include attendance & preparation as follows

  •      considering papers
  •      obtaining your instructions
  •      advising on sentencing guidelines

Attendance and representation at a single Magistrates Court Hearing (half day)


2. Not Guilty / Mixed Plea - Fixed Fee - £600 (plus mileage from Birmingham Office and any disbursements)- half day

Fees include:

2 hours to include attendance and preparation as follows

  •      considering papers
  •      obtaining your instructions     
  •      advising on sentencing guidelines and Trial process      

Attendance and representation at a single Magistrates Court Hearing and one Bail Application (if applicable)


3. Trial (half day)- Fixed Fee - £1000 (plus milage from Birmingham Office and any disbursements) 

Fees include:

5 hours to include attendance and preparation as follows

  •      considering papers 
  •      obtaining your instructions and drafting your Proof of                Evidence
  •      advising on Sentencing Guidelines and Trial process 

Attendance and representation at a single half day Trial 


4. Trial (Full day) - Fixed Fee - £2000 (plus  mileage from Birmingham Office and any disbursements) 

5 hours to include attendance and preparation as follows 

  •      considering papers 
  •      obtaining your instructions and drafting your Proof of                Evidence
  •      advising on sentencing guidelines and Trial process

Attendance and representation at a single full day Trial 


5. Sentencing Hearing - Fixed Fee - £500 (plus mileage from Birmingham Office and any disbursements) - half day 

2 hours to include attendance and preparation as follows

  •      considering papers/ PSR
  •      obtaining your instructions
  •      advising on sentencing guidelines

Attendance and representation at a single sentencing Hearing - half day 


The above fees do not include;

  • Attendance at any further Hearing
  • Advice and Representation in relation to any Applications such as Bad Character/ Hearsay etc
  • Instruction of any Expert Witness
  • Taking statements from any witness
  • Advice and Representation in relation to any Exceptional Hardship Hearing
  • Advice and Representation in relation to any Special Reasons Hearing 
  • Advice or Representation in relation to any Appeal


As part of the key stages in your proceedings for all of the above, we will 

  • Meet with you for you to provide your instructions
  • Consideir the evidence in your case and provide advice
  • Arrange to take any Witness Statement/s as required (subject to an additional fee of £300 per statement)
  • Explain Court Process and Sentencing options available to the Court specific to you 
  • Conduct prepretory work (Please note any work outside the scope of what has been specified above will be subject to an adittional charge which will be specified to you prior to commencement of any work and subjetc to your approval . An example of this might include advising and responding to any Bad Character Application) 
  • We cannot provide a timescale for when your matter is likely to conclude as this will be subject to the Court timetable
  • Attend Court on the day prior to any Hearing to discuss your matter with you (We can only attend Court as per the fee agreed eg half or full day)
  • Discuss the outcome with you
